Night Knee Braces

In order to prevent contactures, each AFO type can be completed by night knee braces.  This is an adaptive, long knee support fitted with rubber textile and side rail braces.
Knee braces are made in combination with a special element that ensures connection to the relaxing/treating  night ankle-foot orthosis.  This way flexion or hypertension of the knee due to its position is eliminated, but the required passive stretching will be achieved to the optimum.

Rigid AFO

An AFO for the lower limbs for the correction spasm, paresis and or deformities; the device is prescribed mainly directly after SDR surgeries; a variant of AFO with an internal sandal.

This fixing device is manufactured with an individually designed sole surface. In order to achieve a better control over the position of the leg, the device is fitted with an internal shell – called "sandal" – ensuring circular fixation. The mechanic places pads distributing pressure into its inner side depending on the shape of the foot. This AFO is prepared with hard rear or side braces that enhance stability.

Dynamic AFO / Toe Off DAFO

The device – ankle-foot orthosis for the lower limbs – corrects spasm, paresis, deformities and is useful as a gait support. It follows the roll-over of the feet with flexible deformations: this feature is able to replace the moving of the ankle.  It ensures a gait similar to natural walking. The device is able to stabilize the leg properly. Keeps ground stresses under control and transfers them onto the shank. Makes heel rotation easier. Upon roll-over, the device stores energy and "feeds" it back at the moment of toe-off. The device is very light, which is important for a patient who suffers from neurological weakness of the muscles of his/her foot. It is a thin AFO, therefore, in most cases, fits to normal shoes, as well. The device readily improves the life quality of patients.

It is made of carbon, kevlar and fibreglass composite plastic supporting and fixing elements. After size-taking, the technician chooses, modifies and assembles the parts of the device, therefore in its final form, it will be a custom-made device. Parts of the device touching the skin are fitted with cotton-covered lining. It can be put on by Velcro straps. This type is more stable than the traditional devices and at the same time they offer more flexible fixation than the others.

Rigid AFO Plus

An AFO for the lower limbs for the correction spasm, paresis and or deformities; the device is prescribed mainly directly after SDR surgeries; a variant of AFO with an internal sandal.

This fixing device is manufactured with an individually designed sole surface. In order to achieve a better control over the position of the leg, the device is fitted with an internal shell – called "sandal" – ensuring circular fixation. The mechanic places pads distributing pressure into its inner side depending on the shape of the foot. This AFO is prepared with hard rear or side braces that enhance stability.

Is is built of especially strong and flexible materials for extra stresses.

Rigid AFO Sensitive

An AFO for the lower limbs for the correction spasm, paresis and or deformities; the device is prescribed mainly directly after SDR surgeries; a variant of AFO with an internal sandal.

This fixing device is manufactured with an individually designed sole surface. In order to achieve a better control over the position of the leg, the device is fitted with an internal shell – called "sandal" – ensuring circular fixation. The mechanic places pads distributing pressure into its inner side depending on the shape of the foot. This AFO is prepared with hard rear or side braces that enhance stability.

And for patients who are especially sensitive the device is produced with extra fine lining and relieving pads.

Hinged AFO

The anti-grav version of AFO; a device that serves the correction of a posture developed as a consequence of an over-corrected achillotomy and hypotonia.

It can be produced as an an individually designed device, customized in depth, sole form and custom-made in its other characteristics; it creates custom-made corrections bya unit ("sandal") that houses the leg and is connected to the other part of the orthosis through a moving ankle joint. It ensures enhanced stableness and facilitates a more effective therapy. Gives more positiveness to the patient.

The device is adjusted on the basis of the patient’s gait and the analysis of his/her movements.

Hinged AFO

An AFO for the lower limbs for the correction spasm, paresis and/or deformities with the function to support gait; the device is prescribed mainly directly after SDR surgeries is a variant of AFO with an internal sandal and ankle joint. After a repeatedly made plaster model necessitated by the change in the patient's status, the child gets a second, combined ankle fixing device fitted with an ankle joint.

It is manufactured with a stiff, external brace, which receives the moving in-built ankle joint.

Hinged AFO Plus with posterior limitation and ankle joint

The device corrects deformities and posture disorders of the leg.

It stabilizes the tarsus by gripping the calcaneus from two sides thereby keeping it in the axle of the leg. It corrects the subtalar joint and the longitudinal arch by supporting the sustenaculum of the calcaneus from the direction of the sole, whereby it relieves Chopart and Lisfranc joints, this way no forces rise that may deform forefoot.

These can be fabricated with an internal "sandal" (fitting into the shoe). This AFO is an individually designed piece customized in depth and in sole form and in its other characteristics, creates custom-made corrections unit that houses the leg and is connected to the other part of the orthosis through a moving ankle joint. It ensures enhanced stableness and facilitates a more effective therapy. Gives more positiveness to the patient.

The movement of the sandal worn inside the shoe is controlled by limiters corresponding to the prescription of the physician. The rear limiters at the same time help rolling over of the leg.

The device is adjusted on the basis of the patient's gait and the analysis of his/her movements.
